Because the Battery Jack installs through the FRONT of the light, it's sometimes difficult to move your Battery Jack to/from our XL body. Yes you can just use a 3/8 socket extension (the square-end will seat into the 4 groves behind the Battery Jack), but if you have a 3D printer this is an easy, 15-minute print that will get the job done exceptionally well. Otherwise spent 10-bucks with us if you don't have access to a 3D printer. The tool you received will be random colored - we print them as needed and basically whatever fillament is in our printer, is the color you will get!!
